The team behind the critically-acclaimed revamp of Batgirlreturns with an exciting sci-fi action-adventure series!
By day, Domino Swift competes for fame & fortune in a worldwide motorcycle racing league. By night, she cracks heads of rival gangs in brutal bike wars to gain possession of a rare, valuable contraband: an engine-boosting “machine narcotic” known as Crush.

This was so much fun! My babe Lauren/Northern Plunder told me it was good when I was picking out 3 for 2 Image comics at Barnes and Noble (best sale, by the way). I finally got to it and oh man, what a ride, if I may pun so bold.

To be fair, I was skeptical because I’m not into sports and I’m not into racing, but this is so much more than that. Lesbian MC who just went through a breakup with the cutest glowing pink child I ever did see, and she races for illegal drugs because she needs them to stay alive. Think the movie Crank, but easier to follow. The description makes the drug seem like it’s for the bike, but it’s not, it’s just a regular drug.

This volume ended on a crazy cliff-hanger and I’m dying to get my hands on volume two, but it’s not out until June 2018, so here I am waiting. Also, I would die for Lola, just saying.

∴ 5 stars ∴*

*because this was fun af and I want to see Lola and Domino back together, even though I’ve never seen them together in the first place
